Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is a sterile, non-pyrogenic aqueous solution containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic preservative. The benzyl alcohol content inhibits bacterial growth, which allows the solution to be drawn from the same sealed vial across multiple entries. This USP-grade solution is supplied in individually sealed, laboratory-grade glass vials.
